Note: requires core module 1.0.8 (available in Gallery 2.1 or CVS from 2005-11-11)
Some Gallery modules will use programs on your server to do image processing, archiving and other operations. These programs can be very compute intensive and can impact the overall performance of a shared web server. You can make these programs run at a lower priority so that they play nice. The programs will continue to use whatever CPU is available, but will allow other processes to run first. If your ISP is complaining about your resource consumption, try setting your priority low.
Go to Site Admin -> General and towards the bottom of the page look for a section marked Helper Processes. Change the priority level and click save.
