Adds text overlay over the thumb of new items. Creates a link to the dynamic album new items if the dynamic module is installed.
Create a page that you can add text and other html you can edit to tell your users about you or your site.
This module may be downloaded from the codex here.
To install, extract the "newitem" folder from the zip file into your Gallery 3 modules folder.
Afterwards log into your Gallery web site as an administrator and activate the module in the Admin -> Modules menu.
Configure the module: Settings -> New item page. You will be able to set the time of the text to show. If the dynamic module is installed you will have to option to turn off the link to the new dynamic page. Save
