You uploaded the wrong image- or movie-file. No need to delete the wrong and create a new item, with all the work on description, title and IPTC-data, correcting incomming links to new item-id. This module replaces photo- or movie-items with the option to preserve or drop the IPTC-data of the old element. Description, title, item-id ... remain.
After installation there will be a new menu-entry in the context-menu
Download from github. Unzip. Rename the folder from 'gallery3_replace_module-master' to 'replace'. Copy the folder 'replace' to the module-directory. Activate module in Admin -> Modules
