What are themes?

Themes define the look and feel of Gallery 3's user interface. Gallery 3 comes with a theme called "Wind" which is enabled by default. If you don't like the look of Gallery 3 you can download and install other themes (see Installing and upgrading themes for information how to get and install them). If you know a bit about PHP and CSS you can even write your own themes (have a look on if you are interested).

Please be aware that most themes do not include a part for the admin area. So even after applying a new theme this part will most likely still look the same as before.
