Project Tasks

• Gallery 2.1.1
  • lib/support/chmod is in
  • need more testing: birdman will take pg8, mindless mysql5, bharat mysql4/windows
  • on track to release this weekend

• G2 Preinstaller
  • valiant committed to cvs (packaging module)
  • has been packaged and released on sf.net (no annoucement yet; 2.1.1 announcement will include info about this)

• Docs
  • No updates this week
  • Got analysis of survey/card sorting data from Valerie.. now we need to do something with it
  • h0bbel requests feedback be sent to -docs for http://www.shimmerstudio.net/wikki/index.php/Main_Page

• G2 Usability
  • Katrina continues to add feedback on codex
  • bharat implemented some changes for Admin Modules, some more to look at

• Gallery Foundation
  • schultmc just posted draft bylaws: Gallery Software Foundation Bylaws (deleted)
  • bharat has meeting scheduled next week with accountant to get opinion, may meet with python/apache people after that

• Theme contest
  • No updates this week
  • volksport has picked up ownership of this; discussion/planning on -core

• Migration to svn
  • mindless will start prep work in coming week; probably codex page to track progress on all the pieces

Other Notes

• short discussion 2.2 roadmap; bharat will announce this codex doc on GMC next week
• discussion of summer of code; only moderate value from last year, significant time spent for some of us.. valiant to start discussion on -core to see what the interest level is for mentors this year, and if anyone is willing to be point person. If interest it low, we'll opt out this time.
