Project Tasks

• Gallery 2.2
  • bharat working on force-deactivation of panorama
  • some discussion about flash video support and whether to split GalleryMovieItem out of core (probably won't; maybe use a "renderer" interface that a flashvideo module can register.. this would help panorama module too)
  • Plan to publish roadmap in a few days (just publishing SVN announcement today)

• Migration to svn
  • svn migration complete, we're back in business!
  • a few loose ends to wrap up: CodeAuditTest, fisheye(just about working), G2 builds/patches
  • closing this task

• Docs
  • No updates this week
  • Got analysis of survey/card sorting data from Valerie.. now we need to do something with it
  • h0bbel requests feedback be sent to -docs for http://www.shimmerstudio.net/wikki/index.php/Main_Page

• G2 Usability
  • Katrina continues to add feedback on codex, no other updates this week
  • Need to keep up with integrating these ideas; hopefully valiant will be point person for usability updates in 2.2 (not present at mtg)

• Gallery Foundation
  • No updates this week -- waiting on bharat for feedback from accountant and other open source groups
  • schultmc has posted draft bylaws: Gallery Software Foundation Bylaws (deleted)

• Theme contest
  • No updates this week
  • waiting for beckett to send all his docs work to codex and/or volksport
  • volksport has picked up ownership of this; discussion/planning on -core

• Summer of Code
  • schultmc is point person this year, h0bbel helping out where he can
  • GMC announcement and ideas page have been published
  • mentors should join/monitor http://groups.google.com/group/summer-gallery
  • applications are accepted may 1-8
  • discussed a few changes to the project ideas page
