There are currently (June 2007) two different major flavours of the Mac OS X operating system: Mac OS X 10.4 (codename "Tiger") and the beta version of Mac OS X 10.5 (codename "Leopard"). Rather than mix the two systems together in one big topic, there is now one page for each version of Mac OS X, as the installation of Gallery2 is likely to be quite different on each release of Mac OS X.
