KeepOriginal will make a backup copy of the original uploaded photo before galllery rotates it.
Under normal circumstances, when rotating images in Gallery 3, the original image is destroyed and replaced with the rotated version. This can cause the image quality to be degraded some, especially if it's rotated multiple times. KeepOriginal works by duplicating the original unrotated photo, right before it's rotated for the first time, giving you a backup of the original image. KeepOriginal also creates an option under the options menu that will allow the original photo to be restored later if you so choose.

To install, extract the "keeporiginal" folder from the zip file into your Gallery 3 modules folder. Afterwards log into your Gallery web site as an administrator and activate the module in the Admin -> Modules menu.
