Project Tasks

Gallery 1

• 1.5.8 and 1.6-RC1 are out.
• ~2 weeks of baking before RC2, then 4 weeks for final perhaps

Summer of Code

• firm deadline for all code is aug 18 (noon PDT). this monday (aug 11) is suggested pencils down date
• phinze and johndbritton both need reviews
• phinze finishes implementation work in 24 hours -> then needs more reviews (reviews been ongoing since 50% through summer). beta should be announced within a few days
• johndbritton status in -devel

Summer of Usability

• no big updates from jhilden
• continues to wait on feedback :(
• jhilden is moving back to the states on friday which is taking time this week and next

GCon

• Bharat is going to send out reimbursements for all submitted expenses soon. needs addresses first.
• Tim_j is going to make sure spreadsheet is accurate

Gallery 2.3

• 2.3-RC1 out the door, getting feedback, lots of small bugs
• lots of progress in the last week on blockers, fixing some bugs
• updated blockers left: http://codex.galleryproject.org/Gallery2:2.3_Release_Blockers
• bharat reminds us that RC should be best shot at final product
• jozefs spending next few days on sr translation, then will be available for bug fixing
• everyone else will continue fixing things
• RC2 maybe in 2-3 weeks
