2.1 Status

• RC-1 is out, security audit underway
• Bug list down to 49
• Tracking status/tasks via RC-1 forum topic and -core status emails
• Targets: RC-2 around 22-Feb, 2.1 around 1-Mar

Open tasks

• OpenUsability -- feedback/announcement done for openusability.org study; task closed [thumb]
• Codex research (survey/card sorting) data is collected.. awaiting analysis.

Other

• valiant/bharat discussed page cache key changes
• valiant would like a code review of his preinstaller
• need help from donw for getid3+windows; probably won't support windows for 2.1 release
• we need more testing for 2.1, particularly upgrade tests
