Meeting Notes: Mar 02 2006

2.1 Status

• 2.0.3 is out, back to focus on RC-2
• Down to two RC-2 blockers: security fixes and blocked upgrades due to missing/incompatible plugins
• Still need more testing, particularly of upgrades
• Targets: 2.1-RC-2 7-Mar, 2.1 around 17-Mar

Project Tasks

• Docs
  • Got analysis of survey/card sorting data from Valerie.. now we need to do something with it
  • h0bbel requests feedback be sent to -docs for http://www.shimmerstudio.net/wikki/index.php/Main_Page

• Gallery Foundation
  • We decided on location and agent; plan on -core discussion to select board (probably 5 members); schultmc will then draft and post documents, and file when all is set and agreed upon

• Theme contest
  • volksport has picked up ownership of this; discussion/planning on -core

• Migration to svn
  • Preparation for migration to begin after 2.1 release; actual migration timing needs to coordinate with G1 schedule
