Summer of Code

talmdal has contacted his student and sent some suggested bug fixes. He is still busy with school for a couple of more weeks.
virshu and his student haven't connected yet. Tend to be on IRC at different times.
jabko has been in contact with his student.
camilojd has completed his 'start task' already.

Changes to GMC Forums

Kieran has taken the ball to create centralized integration forums.
The integrations are planned to be hosted on GMC, however dmolavi has indicated he wants to host the phpnuke/bb2/bb3 forums. Discussions continue on gallery-devel mailing list.

Gallery 2.3 Roadmap

Item delete redesign is in.
talmdal is back and is working on import/export task and input validation.
No update from Signe on akismet module
valiant sent out design doc for ItemAdd refactoring, received feedback and will prototype a bit.
ItemMove DHTML is 99% complete, waiting for Bharat's opinion.
ItemDetele de-ajaxing is 80%
bharat under pressure at work, probably won't have gallery time until this weekend
jablko webdav bugs have not been reviewed yet, so they are not fixed. (last weeks minutes were in error)
jozefs will take on language manager.

GalleryCon 2007

Melody has found a hotel and restaurant in Chinatown, will post information today
No word from jmullan about Minneapolis

G2 Usability

Katrin submitted mockups for the new permissions ui at Gallery2:Usability_Issues:Permissions#Wireframes. She is waiting for feedback.
Information will be posted in the forums to get more user feedback.

No updates this week. From last week: ckdake continues to work on evaluating 'pootle' and that it continues to be a challenge to set up.

valiant indicated he would really like to see the webdav entity type fix. jabko will try to post the reviews this weekend.
Once that fix is available we are good to go.

Maybe released g2.2.2 in 2 weeks
Discussion around when -experimental repositories would be release. It was agreed that new features would not be part of dotdot releases. For this release we can maintain the current status quo (2.2-experimental accumulates new stuff, 2.2-stable is released stuff + security patches) and see how it goes.
mindless suggested that part of the 2.2.2 release announcement would mention the hand full of new updates that were available from the experimental repository, but are not included in the release.
