Project Tasks

Gallery 1

• 1.5.8 and 1.6-alpha4 -> one last security fix in
• ckdake will do packaging tonight
• everyone will test in the following 24 hours
• ckdake will release 1.5.8 and 1.6-a4 thursday
• schultmc will get 1.5.8 on backports.org and talk to Debian about getting it "all the way in"

GCon

• This weekend!
• we will call talmdal in the middle of the night
• jkhilden will be in, we should discuss G2+UI as a group for ~1hr at some point
• team meeting for ~1hr on Saturday

Summer of Usability

• mockups revised based on feedback, more feedback welcome: http://codex.galleryproject.org/Gallery2:SoU2008:Upload_interface_mockup
• started on: http://codex.galleryproject.org/Gallery2:Personas_Scenarions which will be helpful for this and future things.
  • will look back over katrin's survey results for ideas for this
  • survey for posting on front page of gmc? -> will email -devel for ideas about what we want to know about users
• up next: will create some form of click dummy to do some user testing and see what happens

Summer of Code

• mid-term evals are in by all mentors and students, both students are getting paid their midterm amount.
• talmdal will ping johndbritton again. he is sick and behind a bit
• alecmyers is helping bigtime with rapid feedback to phinze

Gallery 2.3

• talmdal thinks we are mostly ready. just have to change core module version and commit it
• ckdake will do the 2.3 RC1 push once packages are built and tested
