Project Tasks

Gallery 1

• 1.5.8-RC1 and 1.6-alpha4 as soon as tim_j gets the list of backwards-incompatabile changes done.

GCon

• we'll just print shirts there for people that are going
• we can do a make-up run of GCon shirts in the US for people that didn't go

Summer of Usability

• mockups revised based on feedback, more feedback welcome: http://codex.galleryproject.org/Gallery2:SoU2008:Upload_interface_mockup
• started on: http://codex.galleryproject.org/Gallery2:Personas_Scenarions which will be helpful for this and future things.
  • will look back over katrin's survey results for ideas for this
  • survey for posting on front page of gmc? -> will email -devel for ideas about what we want to know about users
• up next: will create some form of click dummy to do some user testing and see what happens

Summer of Code

• mid-term evals are imminent (this week!)
• johndbritton - talmdal talked to him, hes gotten sick and has moved to Hong Kong and is behind schedule, but still making slow progress. email will be to -core tonight
• phinze - slower week but still making progress

  • beckett has it up and running has begun reviewing bits of code
  • great response from forums and getting useful testing there
  • slogging along with reviews, unit tests coming along

Gallery 2.3

• no remaining blockers for RC, just for final release (blockers page updated)
• talmdal is working on release process
• ckdake will ping thumb about logo stuff
• name is "Skidoo" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/23_skidoo_(phrase)
• ckieffer reviewed jmullans reviewable. icons picked for silk, needs to do the other two. -> will do after meeting
• virshu is doing some upgrade testing
• fryfrog is doing sqlite testing
• bharat is testing head and has found/fixed a minor issue or two
• bharat will be changing site admin timeout stuff and having valiant review
