Summer of Usability

• looked at coppermine, zenphoto, and picasa web albums last week
• ready to start getting feedback! will e-mail -devel when conclusions from analysis finished

Summer of Code

• phinze
  • molding initial hack of a prototype into an actual module to understand how modules work. will discuss with beckett if this makes sense.
  • looking at imagetags module form netbear
• johndbritton
  • not at meeting but reported to -devel that he's on schedule

Gallery 1

• 1.5.8-RC1 and 1.6-alpha4 on May 31st. still on track, will be released with some reviews still open.
• bharat has been too busy for reviews, none from beckett, a few from jmullan
• waiting on answers to e-mails to -core to resolve several issues, otherwise they won't be fixed
• G1 will now log every login attempt
• ckdake will use tim_j's private svn to build packages

Gallery 2.3

• unit tests all green
• readme is up for review (talmdal)
• need to do testing on other platforms, etc
• need logo and codename (discuss on -devel)
• last blocker was WPG2 /password (talmdal)
• 2 new blocker bugs: DP and combinedJS (doh!)
• should fix one or two of issues before RC, rest can be done during the RC phase

Gallery 2.2.5

• bharat and valiant meeting tonight for 1-2h to package it privately and sent out a message and d/l url to trusted redistributors
• ckdake and virshu will do testing of packages

  • backport fixes and ask for code reviews or contact the security team to see if 2.2.5 can go in
